You’re right...Probably should’ve just titled it “ Recent Press regarding Rivian”.
The article IS all speculation of course.

{he says in a jokingly manner} Not funny Jeff. There's enough click-bait out there; don't need it in the forum. ;)

Joking aside, I've now read a few articles, even seen a video, postulating an Amazon purchase of Rivian. It's like the internet content creators (aka internet writers / youtubers) are even craving "new" information from Rivian but not getting it. So instead they resort to these types of articles, along with the wacky comparisons to the Telsa pickup which virtually has no available information available yet.

Personally, I'm not sold on Amazon or any other company buying Rivian "at this time." I've heard R.J. mention multiple times that he has a vision that goes well beyond than just producing electric vehicles for purchase. Staying privately owned betters his chances of fulfilling that vision. For R.J. to sell Rivian, I get the sense he would have to have certain assurances in writing that he could continue his vision. But hey, things can change and who knows how things will unfold for Rivian a year, two years, or five years from now. To some degree this topic puts the cart before the horse -- there is still a long, hurdle ridden road ahead just to get the first set of Rivians rolling off the production floor *and* then sustaining it.
