    Update: I spoke with tech support at Huf, manufacturer of the TPMS sensors. The guy was fantastic and said my issue was that Iā€™d been running an incomplete set. The system is looking for 4 sensors and doesnā€™t return values for just 3 new sensors. My appt came up the next day at the tire shop...

    Ah, thanks for the clarification! Was my first experience at any Rivian-branded charger. Iā€™ll need to find a RAN charger while theyā€™re still free.

    Maybe Iā€™m just lucky, but I got charged a $5.00 session fee and $0.25/kWh yesterday at the RAN chargers in Westcliffe, CO. The session fee seemed a bit unreasonable since the charger was a slow one. I got just under 13kWh in 68 minutes so the session fee was the majority of my charge.

    An update a while back seemed to help, but when backing up the accelerator still doesnā€™t feel right to me either. Iā€™d best describe it as a dead spot on top followed by too big of a jump in speed.

    Apologies if this has been posted before, but RivIan, please link the vent aim settings to driver memory. My wife is one of those crazy people who doesnā€™t like air on them, and Iā€™d prefer the AC run like a leaf blower in my face. The result is constant vent re-adjusting between driver swaps...

    Ah, thanks for bringing me up to speed. That is really too bad. I completely agree that a Valet mode limiting the car to about 50 hp, 20 mph, no stereo, and no Gear Guard/Incident editing capability would be an ideal solution.

    Apologies if this was already covered: have you tried to recover the deleted video(s)? It wonā€™t work if that part of the memory was subsequently overwritten, but Iā€™ve had luck with various apps in the past that purport to recover deleted files from hard disks and SSDs (I think).

    This is the way. It took me a minute as well, but Rivanā€™s system makes a lot more sense when you realize that what is best for all of us might not be best for any one of us. Rivian is trying to get as many trucks out the door as possible. If they have a ton of black 22ā€ wheels and nothing else...

    Only you can decide if being first on the block with an R1S is worth the importance youā€™re assigning to it. My suggestion? Relax and get the truck you wantā€”itā€™ll be worth it. A good friend of mine moved YEARS ahead on both waitlists by politely and regularly courting Rivian customer service...

    Iā€™m overdue to report back. Mobile service stopped by on Friday. Super nice guy with a very well equipped van. (Not a Rivian van yet, it he said those were coming.) Anyhow, he plugged in his laptop and ran a procedure for perhaps 15 minutes. After that, driver memory appears to work perfectly.

    Iā€™d been the same thing. The service center guy on the phone sounded a bit frustrated Iā€™d been told that. I suspect there was confusion between, ā€œwill prevent it from reoccurringā€ and ā€œwill resolve the current issueā€ and someone just translated that to, ā€œwill fix itā€.

    I have a mobile service appointment tomorrow to fix this. The scheduler told me the latest update should prevent this issue from popping up again after a reset or future update, but that anyone with the issue now will need a tech to do the quick re-calibration procedure in order to get it...

    Thank you for the update, that is great news. I am not yet familiar with the numbering scheme and figured if we were on 10.something now that 14 was likely to come in 2029 along with support for the R4H hoverboat.
