I think the answer is simply because it's Elon & he's not known to stay w/ the status quo wrt any of the companies he's at the helm of. Yep - it's a look very few people truly like. I'm the complete opposite, where I think it looks the worst from the front (head on), but the side and angled profile is increasingly growing on me. As I shared earlier, I think that person who said it's like a turd in a punch bowl when you see it...- MilliM

Someone on a Rivian Facebook forum put it perfectly - the Cybertruck is like a turd in a punch bowl in commuter traffic. But..beyond the looks, in my 2.5 weeks of owning mine I like it more and more each day. Iāve driven our R1S twice since then, and Iām sorry to say but it quite literally...- MilliM

Is it possible the lines on the reverse camera aren’t aligned?
You can see how far off the guide line on the right of the main window is relative to the top down actual view on the far rightā¦this is why Iāve sucked so bad at parking. I almost did the happy dance today because I was the most centered Iāve ever been thanks to now getting used to this view... -

Every now and again Iāll go into my profile and manually adjust them down, but would prefer it did so automatically (if offered as an option in settings) when I put it in reverse. -

Iāve never parked so poorly in my life when backing into a space as I do in the R1S. The picture always shows me over one line or the other, but they arenāt accurate/reflective of my actual location in the spot (seems to be off by an inch or two). If only we had side mirrors that tilt down in... -

There wasnāt. I forced it out and this is what it looked like. Good news is it went back in and itās similarly loose as before. The TP55 is nice and tight so hoping it all works out ok. -

As I was uninstalling one of the bolts to install my running boards it simply kept on twisting (was going lefty loosely the whole time). In order to get it to bite I put some angled pressure on it, but now itās coming out crooked. Any thoughts/suggestions. Assuming Iāll strip the heck out of it... -

Thx, all. I was driving when I posted, but should have indicated I meant the inside-out plug. Have had it done multiple times on normal tires, but these are my first ATs so didnāt know whether it might be different. The car did give me the low pressure warning, and considering all the others... -
Weird Frunk Lid Behavior
FWIW I had this issue today when picking up my R1S from the service center. In my case they had just replaced a communication module, and they presumably accessed it from the frunk area where an ICE car would have its firewall. There are two plastic tabs up there (by the frunk hinge) that...- MilliM

Not surprising at all! It was an amazing road trip and family hauler vehicle for us. Loved taking it to the beach with our two inflatable SUPs and all the other stuff. Tons of space, super comfortable, easy to drive. Only thing it was missing was a third row, which I realize isnāt a truck thingā¦- MilliM
