Introducing RMaxx Running Boards & Rock Sliders for Rivian R1T / R1S from Team 1EV

I can confirm that there has been no meaningful impact on efficiency with the rock sliders. I reset one of the trip meters after I installed them which after 3,500+ miles has an efficiency of 2.14 mi/kWh. My lifetime efficiency over 34,000+ miles is also 2.14 mi/kWh.

PSA : print this sign before using spare tire / tire rotation by tire shop

Yup, that's what I have done before taking it in for rotation after I saw some early reports of people scratching their wheel replacing a flat.

Introducing RMaxx Running Boards & Rock Sliders for Rivian R1T / R1S from Team 1EV

Interestingly, I had specified the triple slot but was sent a new pattern. After it shipped they sent an email notifying me about the new pattern which they are about to release. It is also a pattern of oval slots, but they are not angled. They are symmetrical so the pattern is the same no...

    5 tire rotation experiences?

I've been doing 5 tire rotations at 8,000 miles (20" AT) and am on track to last to at least 40,000 miles (currently around 30,000). That is with "spirited" and off road driving.

Your card is charged when you place the order. I paid for my TBD rock sliders over 6 months ago.

2023 May PNW Rivian Camp-out/Meetup Adventure in E. Washington INTERESTED?

I'm definitely interested, but not sure on the timing. Towards the end of the week would work best as I could head east from there to visit family and friends for Memorial Day weekend.

    Possibly some activity in Portland

I have an appointment scheduled in the PDX service center on May 19th. I am somewhat indifferent on the location though the Tualatin location was pretty close to my work.

Interesting observation on Tesla Supercharger installation vs. the others (EA, CP, EVGo, etc.)

We have a similar install going in across the river from you in Scappoose that is supposed to be operational by the end of April. In addition to the Tesla supercharger stalls, they are putting in a couple adjacent ChargePoint CCS stalls. I am assuming the ChargePoints will only be 62kW like the...

Official Rivian Stories: R1T SOFTWARE UPDATE DETAILS - English - Version 2023.02.03

I seem to have been pushed back in line as well after previously getting updates on day 1 or 2 of the public release. In my case I haven't needed service since late November. Maybe they re-seeded the random number generator?

Rodent chewed through wire harness, causing $7K repair (and $1650 towing)

I recently took off my tow receiver cover and found an unoccupied rodent nest. I don't recognize the nesting material from anything in the vicinity of where I park and hoping it's not something pulled from somewhere in the vehicle...

Introducing RMaxx Running Boards & Rock Sliders for Rivian R1T / R1S from Team 1EV

I am on the shorter side and there is definitely wear showing from my sliding out of the seat at ~17,500 miles. Please ignore the dirtiness as I was cutting and hauling a bunch of firewood and tracked half the forest back into the cab with me.

Getting gas with my R1T (for incoming ice storm) was weird

Most of it is under a carport, but the bed juts out a bit due to my lumber rack in front of it. Redesigning the carport is one of my projects I hope to make headway on during winter break. I'm also refraining from driving on it. I can barely stand without sliding on my driveway.

Ice storm provided a natural "PPF" treatment.
