R1S(tealth) - KAVACA PPF Matte Wrap on Black R1S

Stealth Mode for this R1S!

This Rivian R1S came in for a full-body KAVACA PPF wrap. We protected the bottom half of this truck with our KAVACA Matte PPF to give it that stealthy finish and left the roof and additional accents gloss with our KAVACA ceramic coated PPF for contrast.

We also applied our tinted Headlight protection film to both the headlights and the taillights for a more custom finish.

From there we ceramic coated the entire vehicle with Ceramic Pro for additional UV protection and ease of cleaning and maintenance.

This R1S also got some tint installed! We installed our KAVACA Ultimate IR tint which is a Luxury Ceramic Window Film. It utilizes advanced nano-ceramic technology to achieve maximum IR heat and UV protection. We can achieve up to 95% IR blocking into the 80 VLT range (in plain english: it's clear but still offers 95% IR heat rejection - so we can keep your car cool without going darker).

We tinted the windows in the following shades:

• Windshield: 55%
• Front Roll-Ups: 15%
• Rear Windows: 35%
• Sunroof: 55%

Installation prices and coverage are going to vary from shop to shop but i'll go ahead and post some general pricing here:

For a project similar to the stealth R1S we posted you'd be looking at $7,000. We do offer forum member discounts ranging up to 15% off depending on the service(s). We try to wrap and protect every panel we can with all edges wrapped and tucked - we do a bit of disassembly as well, so things like badges, mirrors, belt moldings, etc. are removed for a more invisible installation.

Looks really good, but for how much? I always dislike when an ad won't show the price, personally. No I won't call and find out, sorry. Tell me how much this customer paid please, otherwise I don't know what the point of this post is. LOTS of companies offer this service and posting the price would put you in the running for comparison with others, which is a very helpful thing when choosing a shop...

Ughhh. It looks TOO good. Love me a murdered out vehicle. R1S is by far the coolest looking to date.

Definitely!! Our video got corrupted so we lost the footage of it ? it'll be back for a follow up Inspection in a few weeks so we'll try to get some more clips and photos of it then ???

Looks awesome can you advise when you do a wrap like this do you need to inform the DMV etc as color change or because not permanent (I presume) no need? Thanks

Exactly! Since it isn't a permanent color change it does not need to be reported to the DMV.

EXACTLY what I am going to do with mine. Looks great! Only difference is I plan to leave it badged - but with the satin black badging from Abstract Ocean

For a job like this we shoot for 5 business days. We schedule drop offs for Monday morning and have it ready Friday evening.

It is a custom installation and sometimes we have to redo panels so that we can deliver an install we're proud of which may add to the time line. However, we aim to keep our customers up to date and aware of any delays that may occur.

That's going to look amazing! We were going to paint the badges on this one in a gunmetal finish but we held off on it for the time being. Customer may end up going with the satin black ???
