The new Nissan Ariya is a crossover with an option for dual motor and similar size to the model Y.
The two features of the Ariya that I wish were (optionally) available for the Rivian R1S are a HUD and Android Automotive - his sentiment about inhouse infotainment is one I agree with:
The new Maserati Grecale Folgore also has Android Automotive (along with Polestar and Cadillac) all heavily customized/branded.
Even support for the basic Android Auto in the R1s would have been adequate for me.
Range of the bigger 83kw battery is ok 300+ wltp, that said the charge rate is really poor but things may improve before production launch.
Either way, the Ariya seems like a good option for some, especially if they want something closer in size to the Model Y.
