Here’s the final answer to the likely reason Rivian decided to rent 25 Griffin Way in Chelsea, MA. The current (according to Google street view) sign on the building says “Williamson New England Electric Motor Service Corp”. $10 says they also signed a service deal with these guys.

highly unlikely. That company services industrial motors/controls. Not electric vehicles

Here in Brookline awaiting R1T with max pack (vacillating on my color).

Feels a bit lonely up here watching all the development videos filmed in the west and even soon in New Zealand.

I’ve asked about planned locations for the charging stations. Looks like Baxter State Park and Mount Desert Island have been overlooked. Franconia Notch SP may have been too but it’s hard to say from the map.

I had Max Pack 2H 2023 when the dates went out but changed to Large Pack and contacted CS that morning who told me July/Sept 22 but I think CS was mistaken, I'm imagining October/December 22 is what she was supposed to tell me.

I did some filtering of some of the data collected here and on reddit after the max pack email and those with order dates 6/1/21 through 12/1/22 with R1T Adventure large seemed to almost all fall under October/December 2022

There are signs of life at 25 Griffin Way. They have opened up the front to add an entrance currently covered in plywood. There were workers inside. Not much of a change on. The outside but that will change when the entrance glazing gets installed. Hopeful they have been working inside the last couple of months so the work is more complete than it looks.

Late to the party, but I'm south of Boston. Preordered Large Pack Launch R1S in March 2020. Got a July-Sept delivery window. Really hope it's July! Also, I want see more R1Ss out there in the forums and wild. Too many R1Ts! I'm sick of em

I didnt think to request EV plates. Rivian does everything for you regarding registration as a dealer would.

Dec 4th was delivery date.

Back in October 2012, I hosted a "party" with 2 of the 3 Model S's in MA and some other fancy cars. Looking forward when we can have a get together like this with more than one Rivian.

Your delivery guy must of thought i was crazy.. I was in My blue defender following him. He pulled into a closed weigh station and when i followed him he drove right out the other side..
My brother is getting the SUV but not till sept..
