I didn't see many charging stations in new england, just wondering if folks mostly charge at home.

Not in NE but about 90% of charging at home.

I commute weekly between Boston and Maine. Loads of chargers in Boston area and every rest area in Maine on 95 has ChargePoint fast DC chargers. New England is kind of a broad geographic area to make a blank generalization about, but I’d say we’re in pretty good shape and not yet like CA with people waiting in lines.

I charge in my garage aside from when on road trips. On road trips I will plug in at the hotel if it has one, otherwise DC fast chargers. I have never charged anywhere else aside from an occasional 1 minute "does this work" tests (often the answer is NO).

I am a huge EV advocate, but if you can't charge at home every night I wouldn't consider an EV at this time. Relying on public charges for your daily commute would be extremely inconvenient and expensive.

If you can't charge at home EVs aren't as good as ICE imo. Having charging stations at home makes it more convenient.

Yeah, having an EV with no way to charge at home would be expensive and annoying.
