What's next?

So over the last few months we've gotten through the R2 reveal, the R3 surprise, the Normal re-tooling and the R1 gen 2 refresh and the surprise Volkswagen announcement. What's next? I feel like I'd like to catch my breath a bit...and hopefully watch Rivian sell a lot of R1s between now and the first sale of an R2. In the meantime, I'd love to get my order in for an R3. Hopefully that opens up someday soon!

Some day, not at all soon, I think Rivian will take a page from VW and put their EDV experience to use and do something like a camper/RV/minvan. This might take the form of a partnership with VW. Just wildly speculating here. But I think there's already so much competition in the passenger-car sort of market that there's little incentive for Rivian to go after smaller vehicles. But a Rivian RV or something similar to (but not _too_ similar to) VW's ID.Buzz (or whatever they're calling it)--that could be interesting!
