The first time I owned a car that wouldn’t be classified as a beater I was 23. When I got it I played Radiohead’s Optimistic as its first song. It is now a tradition in every car I get.

it wasn’t my favorite song then and it isn’t now but it’s still good, and tradition is tradition.

"At Last" - Etta James is high on my list, so is "Welcome to the Machine" - Pink Floyd

I'm also a big fan of Boston, so it might be "Foreplay / Long Time" for me!

Can't wait... I had a yellow R1T pass me the other day just outside Denver (10/6/21)

Boston's Foreplay/Long time is on my list.

I'm a big Rush fan, so "Red Barchetta" and "Countdown" have a place on the list.

"Life is a Highway" by Tom Cochrane. The rascal flats verison is OK, but not as good as the original IMO.

While I'm not a huge Tom Petty fan, "Runnin' down a dream" seems to have been written specifically for a moment such as this.

Just because of the irony I want to say "Benzin" by Rammstein. But, it'll probably be something else entirely.

It could be "Kickstart My Heart", by Motley Crue. Or, it could be "Highway to Hell", by AC/DC. I say, it could be. Because if it's a nice day and I can open the windows then it WILL be, "Money City Maniacs" from one of the best bands almost nobody has heard of. SLOAN!

Great intro. ? ?

...and then it's the Crue and AC/DC. ?
...and it will all be very loud.
