Few more weeks to decide. Need something super bassy that begs to be turned up to Spinal Tap (made that reference today and got blank stares from someone I'm dating. Made me feel old :sigh. Leaning Intergalactic, but afraid Spinal Tap plus that buzzy bass might not be the best combo for my brand new sound system

I have decided that my FG truck will be named Bullitt for obvious reasons. With that, the first song I will play must needs change as well. It will now be "Steve McQueen" by M83, again for obvious reasons.

U2 The Unforgettable Fire (followed by Bad)

The Unforgettable Fire cassette was the first album I had in my first car...a Black 1984 Pontiac Fiero SE. Worked my butt off to get it a year old in 1985 when I was 16…and proceeded to crash (and almost die in) it about 6 months later. The ensuing stint in the family truckster ‘82 Town and Country station wagon was decidedly less cool but no doubt safer for my half-gelled adolescent brain.

But every first drive has always taken me back to those first cruises (at night) in the Fiero.

Now that my long wait for the truck is down to the last few weeks, I finally started to put together my Spotify playlist. Sticking with my partially sarcastic first choice. A few obvious choices and a few picks inspired by this thread. Stadium Arcadium made the list because it was the very first song I heard in an actual R1T when I did a ride along on a test drive and the guide happened to have it loaded. Most of them I could at least tie to a driving experience or truck in some way, but no doubt there are a few random picks I just had to have added while I went through my much longer Spotify favorites list.
