What do you use your R1T bed for? (Picture Edition)

Old wheels, after picking up new ones at El Segundo (who absolutely nailed the balance and alignment). I thought I had taken a better picture of the bed than this... darn.

The wife and I gave ourselves an early Xmas present in December with a much needed treadmill. The guys had no problem loading it at Dick's. I think it was around 260 lbs. No way were we getting it out ourselves. Ended up just opening the box in the bed and taking out what we could. Even then, the base of that thing was heavy and took everything we had to get it onto a little dolly. The ratchet straps are a permanent occupant under the rear seat.

Teacher: Yea? Is it nice?
Son: No.
Teacher: Oh. What kind of things does your daddy use it for?
Son: For trash. It’s a trash truck.

Son: Yea, he goes around and picks up trash and he brings it home. And then he takes trash from home and takes it to the dump.

…if it goes into the bed. It’s “trash” Brand new box from Costco..”do we need to go to the dump to throw it away?”

I don't know how I ever lived without a truck, so much more convenient than hooking up a trailer every single time I need to carry something.

Did you need to add tie-down anchors for this setup - or are the stock anchors enough to tie down a Motocross bike?

Ha Ha well I can’t really answer that for you. I’ve been married for 35 years and my wife and I picked out our tree this year as we have every year She does like the truck a lot though.

Our T is still in transit from Normal but that hasn’t stopped me from doing “truck stuff” in our zippy EV.

Definitely would have been easier with an actual truck.

16 foot 1x4s on top of a few 12 foot 1x4s and 1x6s. Drove about 7 miles home with no issues.

Four piece rock band: Full drum set (including throne), guitar cabinet, guitar combo amp, bass amp and cabinet, guitar stands, 1 guitar and 2 bass guitars in the bed, plus (not shown) 2 electric guitars (in cases) in the gear tunnel, then guitar amp head, effects board and cable bags in the frunk. All band members fit in the cabin and we have fully locked gear when we step away from the truck.
