42 amp is even too high for a 50 amp breaker. Continuous load should only be 80% of the circuit so a 30 amp circuit you should pull at 24amps and a 50 at 40amps.
You should check the wiring on that 30amp circuit to see what it can handle, you are overcooking that circuit and it could be a fire hazard.
