I have an 8000lb dry weight (likely ~ 9000lbs loaded) 32 foot camper. I currently tow it with a Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7L

I don't move it regularly as it is kept normally at a seasonal site, but I need a vehicle that can tow it at least few hundred KMs in a single shot when needed. This is why I need the 400 mile battery pack and was so disappointed they decided to not launch with it.

I'm looking to purchase a 2022 25' Globetrotter as well, about the same time I get my 180 kWh R1T. I'm concerned about range. Hoping I can get at least 200 miles of range, we'll see.
About 200 miles is my wish too. I love the Globetrotters, they are my favorite. This one is an international serenity. We do love it.

We're getting our R1T to pull our 16' donut trailer! It's a heavy beast but pulls fine with our current F-150 FX4 4WD. We are really looking forward to the aux power hookups too so we can shed the gas generators and operate silently!

Well we have a 27' Airstream Globetrotter that I would love to tow behind my R1T that I pre-configured. Currently using RAM1500 EcoDiesel. Good tow vehicle, no range anxiety, but really would like the R1T for replacement.
BTW: Is Rivian talking to RV parks, State Parks, et al, that already have 50 amp RV electric pedestals? In most situations, I could use the 30 amp for the trailer, and use the 50 amp to plug in my ClipperCreek Level 2 recharger for the EV tow vehicle.

The odds I'll ever find myself in Pensacola are low.

But if I do, you can be damned sure I'll be seeking out your trailer.

Why would Rivian need to talk to them?
Your vehicle will come with a charge cord that will plug into 240V (likely a 14-50 although they have not specified). Or you can indeed bring your Clipper Creek.
As to using both the 30A and 50A simultaneously, that will depend on how the pedestal is wired.

Awesome! It's a beautiful beach town with low cost of living!

For us, right now, looks like either the Casita Independence 17' DLX or the Airstream Basecamp 16'...each has its strong points...

2020 Super Air Nautique G23. I was going to go with the RS1, but I need the tow capacity of the R1T as I am likely around 8500 lbs when all loaded up. I hope the 300 mile range will be enough to make it to my favorite camping spot (100 miles away with 1600 feet of elevation gain). I added a second reservation for the 400 mile range as a back-up.
