Thanks! Actually took that one to tweet at Rivian.

Unfortunately, just lost one of the big oaks behind the GC last week due to ice...sad.

Sad but bright side, fire wood and plant a new one of your choice. 🤷

Pic dramatic. Empathize! Lost 24 trees last Fall — early wind, snow, and ice, some trees big.

I’m not seeing many trucks? Has Rivian found an untapped market?
I’ve been in the market to buy a truck for a while. I grew up driving trucks and tractors.

I tried to buy a Tacoma last summer when Toyota was offering 0% financing, but every dealer I talked to around Denver wanted above-MSRP. I thought the dealers would be desperate to make sales during the pandemic. They were not, and I passed.

I started looking for another truck again last fall, and Rivian announced the configurator the next day. I decided that was some sign, and I didn’t need another truck to hold me over until the R1T.

25 years of nothing but trucks and SUVs before buying Tesla Model S in 2015. Never regretted it, but also longed for the day when a good blend of Tesla tech and performance would be available in a “real” truck. Only 4 LONG months away!

That's a bummer. We had to take down some Mesquite trees at my brother's place. He was pretty bummed about it. He is going to make a table out of it for his family.

I've had a bad attitude today, so I want to start a thread to bring some joy back into the forum.

What are you currently driving, and will you keep it or get rid of it when you get your Rivian? Let's seem some whips!

I have a 2013 Audi S6, which the R1T will replace. And a Ducati SC1000, which will be staying :)

No longer anywhere near new, but still fun:

Between my wife and I, we can carry enough to be comfortable (although it seems less so than 30 years ago even with better gear). As we near retirement, the Rivian will at some point replace the bikes for long trips. RTT and camp kitchen will feel like a five star hotel

It was the first and still is one of the nicest and most stylish luxury SUVs, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. And it even drives without without Alexa. Including a '79 Cherokee Chief this '89 model is

my 4th Wagoneer with lots of miles on trails. A tough competition for the R1S.

2019 Corvette Grand Sport. After delivery of the R1S it won’t be the fastest car in my garage to 60. Which I think is crazy!!

2020 Jeep unlimited Sahara.
