My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
Today, I had two back to back weird things happen:

1) Put the truck on a Chargepoint while getting abused by my PT for about 70 minutes. It charged for 20 minutes, dropped to zero, and Chargepoint continued to charge me for the amount of energy it should have delivered were it at full tilt (6.6kW) for that time.
2) Came home from said experience, put the truck on the home charger. Set limit is at 75%, and charge schedule is until 3pm (off-peak). Made it to 72% (expected), but then the app showed 0% after unplugging. Closed the app and restarted, shows normal.

Anyone seen (2)? I attribute (1) to CP doing something stupid and it’s not worth the $1.10 they charged me to get on the phone with them to sort it out.

I’m going with demonic possession for (2).

What software version are you on? This was fixed I thought in 46.

I had some odd charging behavior at home tonight. Went out to the garage and saw the charge port light was red, which was a first with the Rivian home charger. Unplugged and plugged back in and the light stayed white instead of going blue like normal for scheduled charge.

Did hard reset on the truck, plugged it in and still got nothing. Finally flipped the breaker on the charger and let it sit for 30 seconds, powered it back up and plugged it in and it went blue. It's charging now, but still odd behavior.

My theory is that your truck is connected to you telepathically so while you were getting beat up by your PT, the truck was feeling your pain and expressed empathy by rejecting the charge session.

Same thing happened to me on Monday…

She is very kind and apologizes for every time I squeal in pain. My previous PT ,an eastern European gal who survived communism (and fallout from Chernobyl), would simply say “you do not impress me” if I didn’t squeal. One of the most amazing people I’ve ever known.

I’m on .46. I have periodically seen “0%” on the app before, but never long enough for me to screen capture it.

Conspiracy, the oil companies are hacking into the grid, unite, unite! Do group hugs at public charging stations. Use tin foil car covers when parked.
