I use a Pro Series Weight Distributing Hitch for my Expedition while towing my Travel Trailer. Fully loaded I am at 6000 lbs. It is just ok, in my opinion. I am looking for something that does a better job at sway control and does have as.much bounce on the road as I have in my current set up.

I have looked at the Andersen weight Distributing Hitch, which seems to be a lot lighter and have better sway control.

Which Weight Distributing Hitch do you use and why?

I use the Reese Steadi Flex. I like the built in "brake pad" sway material and the hitch lets me lower my tailgate with the trailer hooked up. Very happy with it. . Many people use the Anderson and swear by it!

For the best, get a pro-pride hitch if you're willing to spend some cash and loose some payload due to its weight. I have a blue ox that I like a lot. Easy to set up and works great to control away.
