Wow that's amazing, they somehow magically drain the watāoh, dang, never mind.
I wonder if the tonneau can be partially opened, I.e. does a second button press stop itā¦or just reverse direction?
I wondered the same thing, especially since there's only one button.I wonder if the tonneau can be partially opened, I.e. does a second button press stop itā¦or just reverse direction?
if it can be opened partially that would be useful.
thatās good news, makes sense that it will work like a garage door opener.I wondered the same thing, especially since there's only one button.
I was informed that pressing the button whilst the cover is opening or closing will stop the activity. Pressing the button again will reverse direction. So in short, yes.
I would like to see a video of 1) the tailgate dropping while tonneau is fully deployed (CS said it could), and 2) someone crawling inside under tonneau to retrieve items in the event tonneau fails to open.thatās good news, makes sense that it will work like a garage door opener.
I foresee getting really good at stopping it before all the water/snow/etc gets pushed off. Like rolling down a window to bunch up snow/ice without it falling in. ?
Where does the tonneau roll up? I can't really tell. The space between bounded by the back seats, the top of the gear tunnel, the back of the bed and the place where the place where it retracts doesn't look large enough.
Thereās a kind of shelf above the gear tunnel. You can see it here.Where does the tonneau roll up? I can't really tell. The space between bounded by the back seats, the top of the gear tunnel, the back of the bed and the place where the place where it retracts doesn't look large enough.
It seems like a small space but, if it is big enough to hold the power tonneau, I wonder what is done with that space in the Explore package.Thereās a kind of shelf above the gear tunnel. You can see it here.
I believe in the explorer the manual cover rolls up into the same space. It is just not poweredā¦It seems like a small space but, if it is big enough to hold the power tonneau, I wonder what is done with that space in the Explore package.
No, the manual cover is in 3 segments, which store in the gear tunnel.I believe in the explorer the manual cover rolls up into the same space. It is just not poweredā¦
And Iām also wondering how this will work with fresh wet snow on it..that sits overnight..and is basically frozen the next AM.That is....less than ideal. I had a manual rollup on my Colorado, and the water drained into a special compartment.
Iād be clearing all that off anyway, donāt want it flying off on the road and hitting someone. And Iām also wondering how this will work with fresh wet snow on it..that sits overnight..and is basically frozen the next AM.
