R1S was sitting outside in cold weather like it always is. I cannot get the front or rear windshield washer nozzles to spray. It seems like they’re frozen and I also do not hear any motors running trying to spray. So maybe there is a sensor that shuts the pump off when it detects there is a blockage. By the way, the reservoir is filled with the OEM fluid. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the resolution? Thanks for your input.

Mine work fine at that and colder (gen 2), did you put cold weather fluid in? If not it could have frozen. (I dont know if Rivian washer fluid lines are heated)

My problem is the rear. In extreme cold I can hear the pump moving but fluid never comes out. It does come out the front though. If you don’t hear it whirring I suspect there’s a failure

I have the OE blend. They always fill it during my monthly repair appointment at the service center. I read where one of the EV MFRs (maybe it was Tesla) warns against using the orange winter blend because it tends to streak over the cameras. Not sure if this is actually true..

By the way, the spray nozzles started working once I left work at lunch time. A little warmer outside. I do not think anything is heated because I was running defrost for 30 minutes this morning before I left.

We just had a whole thread about it. You need to pump/suction out the OEM fluid and add a decent antifreeze de-icer wash fluid. If you can't, prestone has a boost that lowers freeze point by 20F, but that's not really enough.

It must be your flui. I have used mine down to -16 this winter and they worked fine.
