My MINI had all of 110 miles of stated range. One of the most entertaining cars I've owned...fantastic "city car". I was actually behind one on the drive into work this morning too.TL;DR: Not coming to US. Only has 151 miles of range.
That's still 126 more miles of range than my son-in-law's Leaf has. He bought a cheap used one just to drive around town.TL;DR: Not coming to US. Only has 151 miles of range.
I’m not sure how affordable the R3 will be though, $35K for 270 miles per charge? The R3 looks to fill this niche, just a tad larger than the European city only vehicles but still plenty small...for American standards.
I almost got a MINI Cooper SE, but the range just doesn’t work if you have to rely on public charging because you live in an apartment or condo, have to drive 50+ miles a day, and have really cold winters for months on end. I ended up leasing a Long-Range RWD Model 3 until the R3 comes out (2028?)My MINI had all of 110 miles of stated range. One of the most entertaining cars I've owned...fantastic "city car".
