Is that El Cap Granite?Found on Reddit:
I believe that's a pre-production unit that actually has the charging port on the passenger side. The driver side is missing the painted cover.Anyone know what’s up with the funky cover on the charging port? Looks almost like textured plastic or something
That was my guess...Is that El Cap Granite?
That is what the charge port door looks like without the painted panel on. Refer to the crash test video and you'll see. That is also a different truck as the state sticker on the back in Mississippi.I believe that's a pre-production unit that actually has the charging port on the passenger side. I believe this same exact vehicle/VIN has appeared in many pictures, before.
Is it possible the driver side is the output port for Rivian-to-Rivian charging? it would make sense so the Rivian’s can be side by side for this feature. if this is already known and I have not seen it...apologies. ?That is what the charge port door looks like without the painted panel on. The bike "SHOULD" fit. The average dirt bike is 82.8" end-to-end. The truck bed length with the tailgate down is 83.8" end-to-end. Where the rear tire rests in that distance is firmly within the length of the bed...Maybe they were testing something...maybe they weren't. Only they know.Let's see the bike IN the truck bed!
Might be just me but I could listen to RJ all day long!
Thank you! Haven't talked my wife into going ahead on a preorder yet.
