No, the gear tunnel is not accessible from inside the truck. The gear tunnel reduces the bed length by a few inches. Hopefully, below is a link which shows the bed of the R1T.Is the gear tunnel accessable from the inside of the truck?
That gear tunnel looks like it will take up a serious portion of bed space.
Here are 2 photos I took at the January event, you can pretty clearly see how much bed space it takes up, and keep in mind the bed has a rolling hard cover that folds up against the cab as well.Is the gear tunnel accessable from the inside of the truck?

@ssgma, that photo of the bed, from that angle, is the best one I have seen yet to make that assessment. You're right - it looks to only take up a few inches.
