Wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I haven't driven my vehicle in a while (over a week) and it's driveway parked. I noticed a day or two ago that each time I leave the house and walk past the vehicle, it makes a quiet whirring noise near the front left wheel well. The doors don't unlock, and the car doesn't seem to fully wake up the screens or anything like that.

My vehicle has proximity unlock and gear guard both off at home, and it doesn't seem to fully wake up. Electrafi shows the vehicle wakes very briefly each time (~1 min before going back to sleep) which seems odd.

My 23 R1S isn't locked at home (it's in the garage), but recently it started making noises that sound like the suspension every time I go out in the garage with my phone.

You sure it's not the louvres over the air intake opening/closing? I've found they seem to do it quite a bit when I'm near our R1s whist parked on our parking pad. They make a low whirring noise, unless they need lubed when it's a 'opening of the crypt door' like creaking.

Mine has always done this- I believe when a paired phone is near, it ‘prepares’ itself in case you wish to unlock it. This is with proximity off at home.

Mine just started something similar, when I am near but not near enough for it to unlock I hear noises like creaking form the front end. Seems to be related to latest update

It could be, although the creaking is relatively new. It only lasts a few seconds so it's definitely possible. Got a handy guide on how best to access them and lube them?

YES! Our R1S just started making that noise as well. I wonder if it has anything to do with the update. Because it never did that before. It's very strange.
