I parked my truck at the airport last week in Pittsburgh. Temps while away were low 20s to mid 40s each day. Gear guard off but proximity left on (my normal). Parked at noon Thursday with 72% and 234 miles. Returned at midnight Tuesday (exactly 5.5 days). I only loaded the app once or twice a day to check while away. Lost a little over 2% a day with each checkin (consistent). It registered 60% and 196 miles when I got in at the airport. Outside temp was 21 degrees and I averaged 1 mile/kWh for the first 15 minutes while heating the battery and cabin. I drove home with the climate set to 74 and front seats and steering heat turned on (turned on from app 5 minutes before getting to the truck). Drove 30 miles mostly interstate at 70mph and arrived home with 48% and 155 miles. Given the outside temperature I was pleased with the performance and confident that warmer outside temps will yield better results. I’m hoping for improvements with software updates over time, but very satisfied with these results today.
Interesting data. You are averaging around 2.5KW which is a lot of energy when just sitting there.

Lost 1.2 kWh last night overnight according to my trip gauge from 9pm to 9am not plugged into my charger, everything turned off, GG off at home, this equated to 1-2 mile of range on the app. 0.1 kWh per hour essentially.

Not very green...
No it isn't, is it.

I get very tired of Rivian constantly speaking the Green agenda speak while at the same time manufacturing a ridiculously wasteful product. It's literally all talk at this point!

Kind of like the casino and sports book commercials promoting how easy it is to make wagers with them.. but always end with "got a gambling problem.. call 1-800-GAMBLER"... just cause they really care about you.

An example from my MINI. I left it parked for the past month because I was driving other cars. I left it plugged in and about once a week it took in 1 kWh or 4 kWh in about 30 days. I've left it unplugged for 2 weeks before and saw no more than 1% of a 28.9 kWh usable pack.

For a company that prides itself on being "Eco Conscious", Rivian really needs to figure out the vampire drain issue. I maybe see 1 to 2 miles of range loss a day in my Tesla and Lucid Air

Since weather hit 70s/80s here in South Texas…I might see one or two miles of range loss per day. And that’s with Gear Guard on during the day at work. Vampire drain seems mostly temperature based combined with an over aggressive BMS system when the temps get cold. Everyone needs to just move south maybe? 😂

I live in FL and it's been slightly cooler this week but I had 5.1% drop over 72hrs with no driving with gear guard on. 1.7%/day or about 5 miles/day. A little over 2kwh/day. $120/yr of power wasted. This is more than my refrigerator!

But these are luxury trucks with extreme capabilities. Not Chevy Bolts or Tesla Model 3's.
With all due respect, I don't need any extreme capability when it should be "off".

I get that off should be more off...but I don't want it more off to mean long start up times, less sensitive door unlocking/locking, etc...

Maybe a user selectable set of parameters. Amount of sleep desired. Low...middle....high. Higher state of sleep, lower performance of remote functionality, longer restart times of infotainment, etc... but lower off power consumption.

That's precisely what I am seeing - about 1-2 miles of range loss per day.

lol what does this even mean? Long start up times? Have you been in any other EV? Do you think that a Tesla has a boot sequence where you can’t drive the car?
