Not sure it is entirely working, but I will monitor over a few days. Device is set to AGM 12V.

Parked at 264mi 90% at 5pm, plugged in the BT.

This morning I am at 261mi 88%

Tracking since 12:00am (now 9am)

Hmm, that's significant drain despite the BT IMO. I see 3-4 mile loss overnight without BT and 0-1 with BT. Can you confirm if you have gear guard and proximity lock/unlock completely turned off? Also what's your typical drain without BT during a similar period?

Make sure your R1 is sleeping (moon icon in the app or third-party apps like ElectraFi).

It definitely was not sleeping in Rivian app last night per the app. (All doors shut, but windows down)

ElectraFi noted "idle/sleeping" state. Here is the current state (from 12:00am on)

GG is off at home.

Typically I lose 1-2kw per night.

Not sure I understood what you meant by "rest left corner", can you help elaborate a bit more? Any pictures may be helpful, as there are likely more folks here who'd like to know how tell dual vs single 12V.
autocorrect error.... rear left corner when standing in front of the vehicle, which is the passenger side.

yeah people have posted the picture multiple times here but it might be in other threads. The Ohmmu people have two detailed youtube videos one for each version that show replacing each battery with their expensive lifepo ones but it can give you an exact idea what they look like.

Well. My total vampire drain amounts to around 6 miles/night at most. So if I get 2 miles/kWh, that means I’m losing 3 kWh a night. And given that I’m paying $.12 per kWh… we're talking 36 cents a day. I'm probably wasting more energy than that staring into the refrigerator trying to decide what to eat. And I’m certainly wasting more by not driving very efficiently (starting too quick, etc).

I’m not here to tell anyone else what to do about this, but I’m not going to concern myself with it that much.
You have cheap power!!! Here in California rates are about $0.29 to $ 0.58 per kWh. 3 kWh per day time 365 days is 1095 kWh. So here the cost per year is $317 to $635......That's not chicken feed. I am not sure if that is only 12 volt power that is waisted. Some part of that loss is keeping the hv battery temperature within spec. If this is all true then spending about $110 for the solar panel and OBD adapter is a quick 2 to 3 month payback.

Definitely woke up too much.
Maybe your Phone was close to your truck and kept waking it?

I wonder if the 36 Watts from BT (12v times 3 amps) is enough to power proximity lock/unlock. The drain numbers I've quoted are without GG and without proximity (not even "Lock Only" at home), ie proximity based lock/unlock fully turned off. That's when I see 3-4 mile loss without BT and 0-1 miles with BT, around 60 degrees ambient temperatures for both cases. I imagine colder or hotter temperatures will cause these numbers to vary.

True. Also I'm very peeved by the fact that the daily vampire drain in my case (around 3 kWh) is around half of what the rest of my entire house uses on an average day at 60 degree ambient temperatures.

^ your whole house can use as little as 6kWh/day? Daaaaaamn.. respect!!!

I can not get my usage to go below 23kWh/day even on a spring day (no A/C and long daylight hrs). Too many refrigerators, freezers, fish tanks, etc... that are just constantly drawing power. Thankfully I have 43 solar panels on my roof that cover our usage 100%+ otherwise I'd be pissed every time I see one of those 100+kWh use days o_O

Yep, our home's total usage (when our EVs aren't plugged in) actually is between 6 to 9 kWh a day on balmy 60-65 degree days when the HVAC rarely kicks in. We power two refrigerators, but no standalone freezers or fish tanks, and have 18 Tesla solar panels that more than cover the home plus one of our EVs. Which is why VD was so maddening to me and partly motivated me to seek out a plug-n-play solution

Below is my home's usage for couple of recent days when my EVs weren't plugged in:

And below is from a recent day when one of my EVs was plugged in, and no that's not an April Fools joke. EVs are the majority of our home's energy consumption, by far:

Update: Really good news, the past 24 hrs, it has been sleeping, with ZERO! VD.

255mi 85% no change.

My outlet's energy monitor shows 600kWh utilized in 24 hrs. Seems a tad high, but MUCH lower than 2kWh+ I would see from VD. @$0.48/kWh this equates to a substantial savings in both energy and costs. Anecdotally, I rarely charge at home, because PGE is so expensive.

Even better, the wife is fine with the setup and will disconnect/reconnect when leaving the car idle longer than 2hrs.

If following along, I am traveling for 10.5 days so I'll update when we return.

Taking a quick poll:
Best in shipping mode or camp mode w/ power off?

I think the general consensus is that shipping doesn't make much of a difference. Maybe it will matter more/less when just factoring in the trickle. But I'm a few updates old in that so maybe there is a happier mode to let it sit now other than just turning things off.
Enjoy your trip, glad you can save some volts!

It does make a difference. I tried this three weeks ago. My truck had 1/2 or less VD than w/o shipping mode.
