Nah, we’ll just tell them we all agreed to meet at Target to shop! 🤣
Can anyone definitively confirm the old Fry’s Electronics lot is closed off and no longer accessible? Just in case, we need a backup plan

Not concerned. There’s plenty of surrounding parking in the landing. Just be courteous and stay toward the back of the lot. If for some reason it gets super large then move to another big box lot.

I had a great time and learned some things. Thanks @PappaBolt for organizing, and whomever (@jebinc ?) brought the bottle jack. The tents were cool to see too. I really enjoyed seeing a stealth wrap in person, and I also was floored by the Canyon Red. I counted 17 Rivians, if I recall. No EDVs but at least one R1S (thanks for showing off the trunk and third row). Everyone was super friendly and the event was well organized. I look forward to the next outing - maybe a practice area like Tahuya State Forest?

My smartphone camera automatically saturates colors so they're not true to life. Here are a few shots anyway. FWIW, the Canyon Red in person to me looked like a reddish burnt orange in full sun, and a dimly glowing ember in the shade. I love how Rivian's color palette is so dynamic in different lighting conditions.

If we do head west it just occurred to me how cool it would be to see a parade of Rivians coming off a ferry. But I'd be up for going to a closer practice area for off road recovery if one exists.

Ugh. Totally forgot to say hi to @jebinc. It was cool seeing everyone else's builds, particularly the FG R1S!

Yes, great weather, great event and great people! Yes, jebinc brought the bottle jack and drone in his LA Silver R1T. Some more pics below. Drone video and official color corrected pictures will come from our gracious hosts, Don and Gina!

No worries. Seems like a lot of my time was unfortunately consumed by fiddling with the dang drone and doing the aerial shots.

Thank you @PappaBolt for organizing and the coffee! Nice chatting to you all this morning! From consensus sounds like we may need to organize a 4x4 course/weekend as a group.

(We were the ones with the Frenchie(dog))

Thanks all for your enthusiastic attendance! Amazing to see 20 Rivians. We were able to stage a few for some great photos.

More importantly, we really enjoyed meeting all of you and learning about your experiences and interests. Great conversations, interesting accessories and fun stories. I learned a ton!

I’ll upload some of the footage tomorrow.
