OK I've been thinking about this (and thinking I can't believe I'm giving this much thought over rubber floor mats). Someone could make a little $$ from laser cutting a plastic template that fits perfectly around the logo. Then get the perfect matched yellow paint to ship with the stencil / template. Paint would need to be a good paint for rubber and hold up. You'd just place the cutout logo template around the compass to prevent paint from going elsewhere as you paint the logo. Am I crazy or potential here?

Just thinking out of the box to get my yellow compass back.

I'm a Launch Edition R1S. The yellow accents was something promised to me for LE by Tony as well as RJ as well as the configurator. More than a little that they went back on that, even though I understand why.

TBH, it’s common industrial design terminology. But I agree it’s a pretentious-sounding word.

Personally, I like the black ones better. I still like the Chilewich ones the most. I'll only be putting my all weather ones in when the weather or excursions call for it.

Boo! This means my R1S will have the ghost logos where as my current R1T has the nicer colored logos. Rivian should give buyers a choice, even if they charges extra for it : (

Honestly, the yellow accents was the biggest selling feature of them for me. I tend to kick off my flip flops etc for long road trips, something about the full tactile connection with the pedals is appealing to me. rubber floor mats would feel odd.

But I'm odd driving barefoot, so there's that too.

Glad I’m not the only freak out there. Barefoot drivers unite!
