I took my father in law's R1T out into Foster Canyon yesterday to try it out. The road is really primitive and mostly slippery clay. We went out a couple miles and eventually took it up a very steep ridge. It started raining really hard and the road turned to a stream bed but the R1T handled it incredibly well. It plowed forward effortlessly. I had it mostly in all purpose off road but put it in sand mode to get out of a stream bed. I realized there was no way out of the stream bed and so I backed it right back up the steep side (using the camera which worked great). The forward camera is super helpful and the whole thing was confidence inspiring and fun. We ended up high on a ridge but the rain never relented so the pictures of that bit aren't great. We ended up in a different spot called Kahuna rock where the rest of the pictures are from. I have a R1S coming (hopefully soon). I have been able to use this truck quite a bit and can't wait to get my own.
