I vaguely remember reading something about TPMS sensors no longer need to be programmed to the vehicle. Is this true when installing new wheels and sensors? I'm heading to the shop with some new atomic wheels and sensors; not sure what the tire shop knows about rivians...

I bought RIvian-compatible sensors from Amazon when I swapped to my aftermarket wheel+tire combo.

Now when I switch back and forth, they simply re-pair to the vehicle within 10 minutes. Easy peasy.
Zero programming. And they were relatively inexpensive.

Hi there! You don’t need to reprogram them; they come ready to be installed and connected. If you have any issues, please contact us. Enjoy the wheels! :fist bump:

Some sensors need programming, if they are universal dual frequency. Can't speak for yours though.

It's 2024....almost 2025. Nobody should have to program tire pressure sensors on a new car anymore. Who even still has that these days?
