I wanted to start a thread for our week camping trip. Traveling with family and two other similar trailers (funny thing is mine is the heaviest by far)
Distance:
Chico to Lake of the Siskyous ~130 miles
Elevation Change : ~3500' ft
To get these numbers I've driven a bit on the highway on flat ground round trip to get an idea for wind factor.
Assumptions:
1100 watts per mile @ 65, Driving at 95% Speed
Added Wieght ~ 8000lbs
Stop 1:
Anderson EA charger arrive with 39% Charge to 71% ( Depending on my arrival %, this may need to be adjusted)
Stop 2:
Lakehead Chargepoint
Arrive 25%, Charge to 72%.
( Stopping here for long lunch and slow charge) again, may need to make adjustments.
The second and 3rd leg has me a little worried, it's a long grade up to Dunsmier, so I'll be very careful to make needed adjustments after the first stop.
Arrive at Lake of the Siskyous with 10%, Charge up at the RV camp
Wish me luck!
