Got mine in this afternoon, easy install video is perfect. Love being able to actually use the tray (couldn't get my pen out easily on the stock pad) and I can actually charge 2 phones now. Charges and holds great for my wife's iPhone, it's a little difficult with my galaxy fold 6. The camera bump doesn't allow it to sit flush and if I try to hang it to where the bump is over the tray opening it won't pick up the magnet on the case. No issue with the product it's great, may just have to try some different cases.

I received mine today. The installation is painless. Unfortunately, the step-down converter seems to not work. I checked the pucks with the truck USB-C, checked the truck harness with the original charger, and tested the ports on the converter. The converter ports did not have power. Any thing else I should check? Sent an email on the website just now.

Sounds like a bad step down.

Just saw the email will respond there.

I'm willing to troubleshoot as needed. I just didn't want to unwrap the converter in case of a warranty issue.

Is the whole thing supposed to sit plush like the rivian charging module?

It sits and lock on top. If it isn't flush. I'm going to bet some wires are between the base and the rear of the center console.

With quick help from Sojhinn, we were able to get the converter up and running. Ready for the morning commute now!

Received mine earlier in the week. Looks good, but have not had a chance to install. Is it not recommended to add more adhesive tape, relying only on the one strip at the rear?

Yes. Don't need more. The mat rests inside and and tape just acts as some friction to stop left and right movement. It really doesn't move at all.

If you want more grab some 3m 300LSE.

It put up a little fight, but got it installed. One of the spacers seized up and would not turn. Not wanting to FUBAR the slot in the disc further, I drilled a small hole, just big enough stick a small screw driver's shaft through and get better leverage. Even then, after a few turns in both directions it finally surrendered. Upon assembly, I put a tiny drop of teflon dry lube on the threads of each disc and everything went smoothly. I like how the silicon mat is a bit oversized, to hide the mismatch at the forward corners. And a tip regarding the white residue, just run your finger nail through it a few times. I initially tried a brush (from a Braun shaver) and it actually made things worse.

A neat trick I found out about the pucks. If you push up from the other side with a little pressure it will loosen it.

Or worst case, pop it out (don't use the screw hole) just push it out.

Installed mine last week and am loving it! Such an improvement over the factory setup. For the last 2 years, I have been plugging my phone into a usb cable more to keep the phone from sliding around than to actually charge. Now I just get in and set the phone on the charger and it stays put (and charges)!

I had the same issue mentioned above with one of the spacers but was able to work through whatever edge was binding the threads with a little back and forth action.

The front edge also did not want to lay quite as flush as I would prefer so I put a couple of layers of electrical tape fully covering the 3 slots in the console before snapping the charger into place. This seemed to snug things up enough to hold the front edge flush in place.

Mine definitely sits high at driver side front corner. Previous version did too but not by as much.

yah same issue I had about how flush the corners sit, but can't complain it works as designed
