I remember your old store page for the gen 1 units had 2 confirmed charging pucks to purchase separately. One being the Apple one, but I can't remember what the second was and don't see it listed on the store page. Could we have a reminder of which chargers you have tested and confirmed work?

Silicone Mat vs wood veneer. Heat expansion in certain climates caused the veneer to pop up. This removes that issue.

How strong is the magnet through the silicone? Is there a good positive lock in with MagSafe?

How strong is the magnet through the silicone? Is there a good positive lock in with MagSafe?

Yes. Its stronger than the wood veneer version, as the silicone is already grippy. But the Magsafe locks in strongly and holds phones in place. I literally was on a drag strip with my phone in place and it didn't move.

Why Anker > Apple?

They stay cooler for longer, which matters in the vehicle. They also seem to have a stronger magnet in them. Since they stay cooler longer, they have a tendency to charge faster overtime vs the Apple Pucks. So while the apple pucks may have a higher peak wattage for charging, they slow down so quickly that the Anker ends up charging it faster.

Yes, but as stated above I do not recommend them over the Anker charging pucks.
