Doesnt seem like a tonneau cover from Rivian will be available anytime soon. Anyone with experience and/or recommendations for 3rd party cover worth purchasing. Any issues with installing?

I have the Rivian manual cover and it works great. There are also multiple third party covers now that get good reviews.

Rivian previously told me their PTC will be available in the gearshop sometime late 2025 or in 2026. No idea on price, but guessing it will be a lot given the cost of their manual one.

Use the search function and you will see multiple threads discussing all aftermarket alternatives.

I have the factory cover. It’s mechanically simple and does the job just fine. But I got it at a reduced price. If I had to pay full price, I probably wouldn’t have. I just don’t think there is $1800 worth of substance.

Keep in mind, aftermarket covers tend to require installation of their own rails, thus reducing width of the bed (top opening) and you will not be able to open the spare compartment lid past them. It will still open enough to allow retrieval of spare.

Hey there! This is the one I use. Rivian has a manual tonneau cover and a revised PTC.

There are other vendors on here too that sell Tonneau covers. The lomax sits on top and I like the way it looks. Its Tri-Folding (see the video on my store).

Here is another thread on Tonneau covers also.

I’ll give another vote for the Lomax

I have a new in box manual Rivian brand cover that I have no need for. Would be willing to sell at a significant discount.

I just bought the Weathertech folding cover and will share some thoughts on it as soon as it's installed

Which looks to be a rebranded Lomax. And the soft roll up is most likely a rebranded Truxedo, which is also sold under other brands (some of them are forum sponsors).

3rd for lomax. Very happy with how it works and my use case for it. I use my tonneau cover probably 3-5x per week for golf clubs.

100% looks to be a rebranded lomax. Same hardware, opening mechanism. Save some cash and buy the lomax off the guy recommended on these forums.

I have Interrobang and they are high quality and easy to use.
I have this one also and love it. Had a trifold on my Ram and I like the Interrobang the best.

If not sold, I need it.

My prior, full priced mtc, was destroyed when I did not fully close the gate. The gate opened and the panels ended up on the road and were ran over....waaah. Yes, I was annoyed. I only had the mtc for a few months.
