Timing of Gen 2 R1T production ?

Rivian has been focusing on R1S Dual Standard and Max production since they restarted the plant in Illinois. Anyone has a clue on when they intend to start assembling R1T again ?

The configurator for R1T Dual Standard and Max shows same timing as R1S (sept-oct) even tough R1S are available in the Shop now…

Right now they are focused on producing R1S which is where the demand is. They will likely switch to R1Ts for a few weeks in September just to pump out existing orders. But we really don't know at this point.

Agree. Given existing R1T inventory no reason to just add more to the shop. If you want a 2025 R1T then drop a non-refundable deposit and order one, that's what I did.

Only folks that wouldn't be able to do that would be those holding pre-march vouchers, I guess they are saying take a deal on what we have in stock. Those folks have to hope for some orphans before the vouchers expire.

Ordered a 2nd Gen R1T just early tonight, and shows August-September for delivery over here in Rhode Island. Hope it stays true, and lease options are decent when it's time to deliver.
