I’ve got a first world problem here. Just got my R1T the other day. My plan is to charge at three locations: home, office, cabin. At home and the office I want to charge as soon as I plug in since the price for electricity is the consistent all day. At the cabin the best rate is between midnight and 3pm.

What I did is install Chargepoint Flex at both home and the cabin. Also use the commercial Chargepoints at the office. The charger’s software allows to program a time to charge.

What happens is I plug in at the cabin in the evening. The Rivian seems to time out before midnight then never starts charging.

Anyone else successfully using charge delays built into the EVSEs?

I have been using the in vehicle schedule for the last month and it works perfectly. For me I allow charging from 7pm until 2pm the next day as those are the ultra cheap hours. When I plug in it goes blue and the dash says scheduled to start at 7pm.

I’ll try the built in one next. I’d rather tie it to the charger so I don’t have to toggle settings depending on location though.
