We did before this photo!
Raises the question, when would you dub them that?

I'm going with, this picture, cause, it's as good as of a time as any.

Sadly, one of those has been in my front yard for a few weeks now. Can't get up the courage to pick it up to throw away. ::vomit::
I take it you're not Bear Grylls?

RJ posted to Instagram a video of new white Rivian EDV's lined up at the factory that will soon be deployed as mobile service vehicle. There were probably two dozen white vans.

This is all good evidence that ramping is going as expected.

At factory delivery around the end of April, I was shocked by how many EDVs are out there. It's insane how they are stacking up all over the place just waiting for Amazon to come and get them.

Certainly last year when production easily went into the thousands. Some photos 21 months into production and probably close to 40000 vehicles made seems an odd time to say “oh now they are an OEM”.

We took Factory Delivery of our R1T on April 26th. We noticed the same thing, R1's and vans stashed everywhere on the property.

Amazon needs to come pick up their vans. They are clogging everything up!
FWIW- I recall reading somewhere that it isn't that Amazon doesn't "want" the EDV's.. they are just behind in setting up the charging infrastructure at their depots. They could take delivery.... but in some locations there is literally now way to charge them.

I read the same thing. Here in CO they were still installing the chargers at the Denver hub last we heard. No point in having the vans here if you can’t charge them.

Looks a lot more like "hundreds" not "thousands"

5/28 I finally saw a EDV (Parker Rd/C-470 area). I'd sure buy one if Rivian would sell.

I do think Amazon's "we don't have chargers" is a lame excuse.

It’s totally lame. The only thing I can think of is they didn’t trust that Rivian would survive long enough to deliver the vans… that’s a possibility.

I’m up north in Loveland and have yet to see one, but I’m sure it will happen eventually!

Here in the Nashville, TN area I’ve been seeing EDVs almost daily for months. And they are the most common Rivian to see. (Unless you go to the SC). I con go weeks without seeing another R1T.
