How fast did you get yours? I did the same and ordered in January 2022 took delivery June 2022. I havent heard of anyone else doing this as well haha

Dec of 21 order and sept of 22 delivery. I didn't change the config until June til what they were batching at the time and within a week I got a confirm your config email. So if I would have done it sooner I might have been earlier too.

New price of an average setup $ 90,000k. x 10,000 customers is $ 900,000,000. That's whats Rivian looking for. Inject $1B to the company in the next 3-4 months and reduce the deficit for the next quarter.

It doesn't inject one billion into the company. The change adds the price difference between new and old orders. Also 10K orders affected by the change is a huge assumption. Many people who ordered recently probably aren't ready for a vehicle and were getting in line for a later delivery.

We will know more over the next week which older preorders are passed over.

Exactly. It'll add maybe $70mil per quarter to the bottom line if it impacts 5000 orders per quarter. It does however improve their margin etc and it shows numbers to Wall St that are going in the right direction. I bet they end up delivering 60k plus vehicles in 2023

We ordered on an R1T on November 28, 2018.

Our R1T order was placed on November 28, 2018. We are not near any of the Rivian Service Centers. According, we can not get delivery.
