What's that?
  1. Apple App Performance
    • The Apple app lags frequently and often displays a “Something went wrong” message. It takes a while to reset and get it back to working. Additionally, improving the AI functionality would be nice.
  2. Ride Quality Improvement
    • Enhance the ride quality by adding an Extra Soft option for those riding on 22” wheels. It's hard love a car that rides like crap.
  3. Wide Backup Camera View
    • Introduce an option for a wide backup camera view. The other day, while backing out of a parking spot, I nearly missed a pedestrian walking behind my car. This feature could help prevent close calls.
  4. Air Pump Functionality
    • The air pump is constantly operating even when the Auto Level is set to Off. This issue needs to be addressed.
  5. YouTube Video Playback
    • Allow for the playback of YouTube videos on the middle small screen in the back, so my kids can watch Paw Patrol and Rivian off-roading videos.
  6. Add more horn and lock sound options.

Just some feedback on your #4 item. You may want to get your vehicle checked out if the air compressor continues to run. The air compressor is tied to your air suspension and one of the reasons why it will continue to run is to maintain system pressure or keeping the truck level. You may have a leak in the system somewhere.

Speaking from experience, it caused my compressor to eventually fail due to prolonged operation. I found my truck stuck in the low position one day and the compressor failed.

Thank you. I’ll check with Rivian on that. It’s been this way since I got the car and only has 4k miles on it.

By all the time is it daily? every time you drive? weekly? Mine does it every week or so but I think that's normal and not much Rivian can do to change that

A counterpoint for you and @ivinio21 to consider is that the system is not static when the vehicle is in motion. I described some reasons why in https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/air-suspension-auto-adjust-quirks.5540/

The process of accelerating, braking, cornering, and loading/unloading passengers/cargo will all cause the suspension to adjust and it may need to run the compressor from time to time.

It happens daily. In fact, it occurs every time I drive, and I can hear it periodically on both short and long trips.

This is normal unless it's running constantly. Anything that adjusts suspension height (changing drive modes, or the "kneel" setting) will make it happen more often, but it's going to happen on most/all drives anyway due to factors others have noted - your car has an active suspension and the air tank needs to be kept pressurized for it to function properly.

With auto level off, my air pump only runs every few days. It sounds like you have a leak.

2nd you on number 3.

I too have had a close call with a child on a Segway. Pedestrian was not detected by sensors and the camera view is too narrow to be useful.

A louder and more distinctive back up sound would be better too.
