My set arrived last week and I installed them yesterday. This was exactly the type of splash guards I have been looking for.

I like the low profile look, Kevlar textured finish and the XPEL PPF film applied to the guards for protection.

I was looking for options that would plug the front fender hole.

Correct. It’s one of the reasons I chose these carbon fiber splash guards.

Installed these the other day on a dirty car! Turned out so good and looks slick!
You need to take it out when it's clean and come back to post photos of how they work. Do they keep the kickguard and doors cleaner? Would love to see!

I was skeptical on how these would attach to the R1T. Have to say I am extremely happy with these mudguards. Thanks @TheCarbonGuards for a great product. Will be recommending these to other Rivian owners

I’m very pleased with my purchase as well. The low profile look won me over.

That hole is there for a reason.
It hardly makes a difference, truthfully speaking. Especially if you change your wheels, I'm told. The math totally changes then.

I am sure it affects aero and decreases range. So do any mud flaps.
Ours less than others because ours don't stick out beyond the tires. They'll protect the paint where most vulnerable to tire spray damage, but with the right balance of aero. I'm sure in a super controlled wind tunnel test you'd be able to calculate the few yards per mile lost.
