Or a finger placed under the where the V points to and press! That's great for the people with x-ray vision
Or the people who are 8 feet tall? I don't know about you, but I can't see the V when the liftgate is open all the way. You know, to close it.Or a finger placed under the where the V points to and press!

Apparently not since this entire thread is about how to close the liftgate once it is open...Hmmm, when lift gate is open the black rubber button cover is obvious
There's a lot of vehicles that have the button somewhere on the rear pillar inside the vehicle, so you don't have to reach all the way up to the liftgate. People who are exceptionally short might not be able to reach it at all where Rivian has it, so the rear pillar makes sense for those folks that are short and have the memory of a goldfish.Apparently not since this entire thread is about how to close the liftgate once it is open...
I am sure it doesn’t hurt anything to manually close it. It would be nice to have a more visible button
Can someone post a damn pic of this button?!?Hmmm, when lift gate is open the black rubber button cover is obvious

Yes, I never have any trouble opening the hatch. In poor lighting, it is hard to find the close button, especially with an armload of stuff.Visual guide—The V in rear RIVIAN lettering points to the button underneath.
Drop some kids off at home after practice at night or drop a friend at the airport...watch them grab their equipment bag or luggage out of the back, and search for the button...then give up and manually close it. This happens nearly every time. It is a real issue, though certainly not a big one.Call me daft, but I assume it's #2? What's the problem?

Sorry to waste your time, but for those that are interested, I am ordering these from amazon and will report back.I looked up the term for solutions for problems that don't exist and unfortunately there isn't one. The closest I found was "non-existent problem solutions."
Yet another it's me, not you Rivian, post.
