Tesla to add Apple Music, hopefully Rivian follows suit

While not full CarPlay, adding Apple Music would be enough to satisfy me. I'm fully invested in the Apple services and devices ecosystem, so not wasn't going to be using the onboard Spotify. I really hope Rivian considers doing the same here.

I hope they do. Much like you I'd prefer CarPlay but this would sure hold me over for awhile and greatly reduce the need.

It's not official. Probably a candidate as it appeared on a static display. An icon is in the right direction but nothing more than a hopeful sign.

Who knows if it actually happens. Its been talked about and rumored for several years now.

That would work. Apple music is actually the only part of CarPlay I use. Sometimes Waze but I could just go back to using that on my phone.

No, other audio services seem to be blocked ("not supported on this device"), including SiriusXM.

Based on the latest tweet from Musk jabbing Apple for pulling their advertisements from Twitter I would be surprised if he lets this happen.

It took Tesla a few years to finally adopt Apple Music, hope Rivian is quicker to do so.
