Tailgate lever out of place?

I have a bit of an odd question: this morning when I opened the tailgate, I heard a snap and then it seemed like there was giveaway when previously there hadn’t been. When I looked under the panel, it looked like there is a lever that is now out of its notch.

I took a picture because I can’t explain it any better than that.

Anyone else have that happen to them? And if so, can I fix it myself or does it need a service ticket?
