Well, not a great day yesterday, had to commute downtown and ended up in one of the tightest/narrowest garages I have been inside in the city. When I parked, I was thinking if one person is not fully pulled forward near the corners there's going to be a problem.

When I left in the evening... there was indeed a problem. I own it, and maybe I could have found another literal inch of clearance, but I didn't haha, so doesn't matter now.

Does anyone have a reference for a good shop in the area who might be able to fix this up?

2 scrapes, one pretty minor (right), the other still not terrible but looks a lot worse in the photo from the paint transfer contrasting against the black.

Hoping this is not a "buy a new one from Rivian" level issue. I've had worse stuff repaired on equally expensive wheels before for a reasonable cost, hoping that will be the case here. Thanks!!

Wow, bump post after just one day huh. You must be really embarrassed. j/k :)

Hey, at least you don't look like me after getting stuck off-roading. Check out my rear wheels below.

Anywho, im not just a smartass, heres a few ideas:

1. FB marketplace, i grabbed a spare tire and rim for $500. If you have the patience, you can find someone motivated to sell one for a great deal. Or possibly on the member for sale forum here. Then you can probably sell yours for a steal to someone else to help recoup the costs.

2. I saw these guys outside a body shop in Barrington where there were several Porsches and similar really nice cars. I figured thats a good sign that they probably do good work. Ive been meaning to call them about mine, which I will do next week. Ill let you know what they say to me, do the same if you call them yeah?

3. I got some body work done at Body Builders in Rolling Meadows this summer. Been meaning to call them to see if they have a wheel guy too. (or if they do wheels themselves) Ill report back on that too

4. In the meantime, a Sharpie will work wonders to make it stand out a bit less. I do speak from experience ;)

I'm stuck at a tech conference this week and was hoping to get some options before I flew out ? hence the bump.

I won't be able to reach out to anyone for a while now (flying today) but if you don't hear anything and I find someone I'll dump it in here.

And yeah, sharpie will be the current solution once I get back and can clean everything up a bit

I talked to the guys at Allied, their shop is in Lake Barrington, its $170 per wheel for repair, they fully strip it down and re-powder coat it, and $32 for re-mounting and balancing the tire. I forgot to ask if they would re-create the lil yellow Rivian badge.
Hope that helps. Not just you, but anyone else in the NW Chicago burbs who may happen across this thread :)

Thank you for sharing man! That honestly seems quite reasonable, I was expecting about double that.

I may have to give them a go. It's a bit of a haul but not too bad
