Stovetop oven

What are you using for baking? I would like the opportunity to bake a potato, pizza, muffins or bread. I have seen the Coleman oven, which isn’t available anyway. Anyone else have an idea?

Propane is more and more likely to be prohibited in high fire danger areas, but you can use induction...no flame.

That is the exact unit that I have been using camping with the R1T along with a Duxtop induction stove. Only complaint so far is that it emits a loud warning tone when opening it when the interior is hot.

I have one of these in my kitchen and love it. The power hungry 1800 watts would limit using it with a Rivian though. I have a smaller air fryer that works with the Rivian:

But I have not been bringing it on my adventures to save space, opting for the microwave instead. I think the combo micro/air fryer is the best compromise.

I could do this in the name of science.

A related thing happened to me last weekend. I was charging some Dewalt portable batteries and tried to simultaneously use the microwave. Nothing exploded or anything but the microwave would run, spin the carousel but would not fire the microwaves until I turned off the charger. I guess I was trying to pull more than 1500W and the microwave wasn't getting the power it asked for.

Don't have the air fryer, but have a breville toaster oven...and yes, I use it at home way more than my big oven...so, yeah, taking it on the road, that could work...

Dutch ovens are used to contain moisture when baking bread in an oven that does not have steam. I think the bread will burn on the bottom if you try to do it on a burner. Just my .02
