Personally, Midnight is the only color I'd do stealth on

I had my storm blue R1T wrapped in stealth at the factory. You made this post (I saw one on Reddit too) regarding stealth on storm blue and it really made me question if I had made the right choice.

Fast forward a few days to delivery and I’m 100% sold on the combo - I absolutely love it. I love the color changing properties in storm blue (I had an X5 with dravit grey that did the same thing).

Don’t mind the mixed crossbars. Silver are being sold to a friend.

I did regular PPF and light tints, but Storm Blue isn't what I expected either. I like it, but my favorite is the LA Silver still to this day.

Not a fan of stealth, it's not bad looking, but not my favorite look.

What tint level is that on the lights? I’m about to do the same on mine but not sure how dark I should go. Yours looks awesome!

I did whatever the "lightest" was but truthfully it's a little darker then I wanted.

I think light smoke, or something to that effect was the name.

Got my Black Aero's on now

Why would you put the 21’s on the new Gen 2 Rivian?

Why wouldn't you if you have them? Overall best riding and best efficiency off all 3 options from Gen1 as I have all 3 for our 2. They "fixed" the ride of our R1S that came with the 22s.

Incorrect. The best riding and efficiency of all three options are the 20’s on 275/60/20 all season tires.
My Gen1 R1S on 20’s with 275/60/20 AS tires is 7% more efficient than my Gen1 R1T on 21’s.

Speaking of factory options. Yes, Aftermarket is most often the way.

However I'm surprised you are getting that Much improvement. Jow many miles did you have on 21s or are you simply assuming epa? I have same setup as you mention but with lighter Atomics and efficiency matches 21s with aero covers but doesn't beat it. Without are covers they do. I Like the look a lot more of the 20's that I have for my R1T, but like the Stealth blue above, added vinyl to 21s and they look great on stealth black R1S

My R1T after about 5500 miles, lifetime mi/kwh was 2.31 at avg speed of 32mph. Large pack on 21’s with aero caps never removed and no mods.
My R1S after about 5950 miles, lifetime mi/kWh was 2.48 at avg speed of 37mph. Now I have 15k miles on my S and lifetime is now at 2.5. So despite my S driving faster, using non EV tires (275/60/20 Pirelli As plus 3), being less aerodynamic than the T, having mud flaps and side steps mounted, is still more efficient.

I just switched to the new Michelin Defender LTX ms2’s which are considered to be EV ready so hopefully I’ll see even better efficiency.

Great info, appreciate it. Great numbers overall.

I find our R1S to be about 4% more efficient than T with same setup of tires. Assume simply due to the shape and slightly less weight.

I put 65k miles on my last one in 30 months, and sadly dropped to zero electrons twice. 😂

I need all the range I can get, and the Defender Tire is warrantied for 70k miles.

Warm months get the 22's and cold get the 21's with Defender tire.
