Spotify issues with 2023.50.1?

Just polling to see if anyone else having sync/loading issues with Spotify since 2023.50.1.

Going to certain podcasts on the main screen show “no content”, intermittent issues of no content or partial content and to get/play some podcasts or songs I have to start them on my phone account and it will then load/play on the R1S. Spotify also pretty sluggish (it’s the worst, but there has been some other sluggishness navigating other Rivian menus/apps) since 50.1 update.

What I’ve tried: logout/login to Spotify account, infotainment reset. Same symptoms.

Edit: still there with 2024.03.01

Glad you posted this. I get that message when I hit the home button on Spotify. Never had this prior to the most recent update.

It's been a persistent issue for some of us for a while now. Not related to the latest update.

Spotify hasn’t been great over the last year but not this buggy for me until now. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe they can fix it and mirror/add the “new episodes” tab under podcasts like the app…

I load the tunein app for 5 seconds then jump back to Spotify app. That forces a refresh and Spotify appears synced for me. Definitely I get the sync issues with Spotify, but this fixes it for me.

Yup, since this last update two of my saved Podcasts won't show any content. Tried everything, nothing brought them back. I can still find the episode I want to listen to on my phone, search for that specific episode through the truck search function and then play it. First issue I've had with Spotify and just hoped it would be fixed in the next update.

Just want to add another to the list of having the same issue and tried info reset with no avail. I was going to try logging out and logging back in but that sounds like that doesn’t work.

Looks like more than just Spotify issues in this update.
I've been having problems with Tidal too... skip forward, back, and pause buttons disappear on the screen after a few seconds, and don't work from the steering wheel buttons either. Have to pick another song on screen for the controls to come back each time.

For what it is worth - I have all of these same issues with my Model X. I am picking my R1S up on February 3rd……….part of my issue with Spotify happen just after I leave my house. At my house the Model X is hooked up to my house WiFi. As I move away from my house it then hooks up to the LTE service………..if I try to search or pull up other PodCast, songs etc during this time period then I have to wait a good 5 minutes or so for Spotify to work. Sometime logging into another streaming service jogs it so it works. Just FYI.

I’ve been having this issues with both, Spotify and Tidal, but have been having the issue for quite some time, at least 2 or 3 updates ago
