@Roffir Would love to know your experience on the install, and if there's anything I can do to clear it up.
The video was excellent, no issues installing. You called out to be careful with the tiny screws, and I still managed to drop one twice (but always found it).
FYI I didn't get any double-sided tape in the package which video mentions. Mine did come with two pieces already on the housing, but the mat wasn't sticking to it and it wasn't sticky anymore so I just added my own from home. Without the tape it does come off a decent amount (might only be my OCD that cares).

Good call out. David was trying to help people by putting the tape on it already. Ill let him know to stop helping. Also we added a piece inside the bowl as well. The little tackiness helps in general.

Since the NFC reader needs to stay in place it makes it really difficult. We have two options to have a step down in place.

1) We use wire taps for power.

Not a huge fan of this as it does damage the wire.

2) Create a wire harness.

Basically this is similar to above but instead we create a harness that allows us to T power off. (A female and male version of the plug.) Issue with that: I haven't found either the female or male version of the plug and we have very little space to work with.

Of the two options I like 2. But I need the plugs. If you know what they are let me know.
Just finished installing mine...it's awesome, and the install was as shown in the video. I now understand why the original wireless charger has to stay in. Very odd 3 pin contact built into the charger to power the NFC reader that sits on top. My only additional tip is to be very careful removing the front T5 screws (the tiny ones) as the NFC pops up a bit when the second is removed thanks to those power pins pushing up. This can be mitigated some I think by leaving the larger T9 screws in and removing them after the T5s, but I didn't do it in that order and got the "pop" when the tiny ones released.

Anyway, I took some pics of the connector. Looks like a molex 34791. Female plug counterpart (technically male as the pins inside would be male...semantics...) is 34792 or 34793. Can't tell what the difference is between them at first glance. Interesting that the wireless charger has a full 8 male pins, but the plug to power it only has 4 wires and female pins.

Hope that may help with stepdown charger designs so we can skip the USB-C in the center console altogether!

Also it looks awesome! Love the Acadia topo and thanks for leaving the residue in for me! Going to enjoy the contrast look for as long as it holds up.

Looks like 34793 is a right angle adapter where 37492 is a straight through. Mine is being installed tonight but love the look of it installed!

Already ordered. I'll see what I can come up with.
