I took the opportunity today to wash my car and calipers while the EV world was in shambles from Shorts having a field day with the stock.
I called this beautifully when I said we would should have an opportunity to pick up shares closer to book value when shorts go to town on the stock.
That day came a lot sooner than I was expecting. My goal is to dollar cost average as Rivian burns cash every quarter and eventually looks to dilute.
I will be there ready to DCA and bring my average down from $22 close to $11.
For now I decided to spend some quality time with Rivian and touch grass while shorts give me further discounts leading up to R2 reveal.
I spent lots of time cleaning up the calipers and making them look brand new again.
I got her tucked back into the Garage and plan to take her out tonight for a ride.

I love this. I love it so much. This shows me that Rivian is nimble and still operating like a start-up instead of a legacy automaker who is slow to react with mediocre products and customer service.
I hope shorts look to open up more positions after the R2 reveal so I can scoop up some shares closer to book value.
I like the sound of both and plan to DCA after they burn through more cash and shorts give me even better prices.
