People are so impatient. They told us, Q1 2024 was their goal. Hold tight.
Pretty patient. Picked up in June was told by SC itā€™d be out in July. Was then ā€œconfirmedā€ by RJ. Still nothing. Being patient over here. Iā€™ll crank up the fanboy attitude, sorry.

I hope the current auto wiper sensitivity isnā€™t the highest level offered. Iā€™ve consistently wanted it to be 10-15% more sensitive since owning.

Seems like they have two major additions to make early next year - infotainment (which will be related to the start of LTE charging) and the camera view on the driver screen when turning left or right. Other than that it will be driver plus and navigation updates periodically.
I am expecting the monthly updates to stop by the middle of 2024 and the going quarterly since a lot has been done in the past 2+ years and I donā€™t see them doing monthly for ever.

Those will be here when Rivian can make you pay for them.

One thing I am wondering and making me think maybe I misunderstood something...

How can these precondition the battery pack without moving?

I thought the preconditioning happened by running the motors purposefully inefficient and causing heating to the coolant. Can this be done on a non-moving motor? Or is there another resistive heating element in the system?

I wish they would add the ability to turn off the "courtesy wipe" with the auto wiper

I have to leave wipers turned off as I can't do anything to prevent the wiper from running on a dry windshield every time I go into park
I've seen mention of this behavior before, but I can report my truck has only rarely done this (maybe 3 or 4 times in the 12,000+ miles I've owned it). I always use the auto setting for the wipers, and hit the button on the stalk to give a quick wipe in misting conditons.
