I have used weathertech for years (since my first car.. and explorer in 1997) and have the first row liners for my R1S and have been pretty happy with them, but I'm tired of waiting for them to come out with the second row liners.

It seems like they have no interest in supporting Rivian any further than they have, based on some of the stories it sounds like the company has gotten less consumer friendly over the years,.and I'm tired of waiting for them to make the second row.

I don't like the really "rubbery" mats, does anyone have a recommendation on thin vacuum formed ones similar to the weathertech ones?

Interesting. I’ve long used Weathertech too. When I bought my 2022 refreshed Tesla Model X, they were “working” on mats for the new design. Before long, they came out with mats for the front driver/passenger and for the rear cargo area. It took a loooooooong time for them to come out with the mats for the second row. I have no idea why, but I was about to give up when magically they appeared on the site one day. Hmmm. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve heard LinerX is good per other posts. I’ve used weather tech forever but really like the Rivian mats, actually. They’re not too rubbery and they fit really well.

In my experience Weathertech has fallen behind. Their fit is good, but the mat material is not as nice as their competition, and their hard rubber makes the cabin quite a bit louder, compared to other softer options.

I would not hesitate to look elsewhere.

Ive used Weather tech for years. I was never a fan of their customer service department. They don't prioritize customer
satisfaction. However, their mats do their job and everything is made in the USA. I just checked out LinerX. Many good reviews from Rivian owners however I didn't see anywhere on their website about domestic manufacturing. I must assume the product is made elsewhere so I just can't go with their product when I have domestic made options.

@LinerX would you consider offering your 2nd and 3rd row mats as a package for those of us who were foolish enough to buy weather tech front mats based on past history? I have your rear cargo liner and don’t feel like paying for a second set of mats for the first row. Hindsight being 20/20, would have waited and bought everything from liner x.
